EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES

Versatile equestrian facilities for all

We provide outstanding equestrian facilities to those of all abilities for the purpose of training, physical recreation, education, social welfare and community participation.

Our centre is set in a very private location with excellent access. There is parking adjacent to the arenas with ample room for all vehicles. Electrical hook up points and showers are available for overnight stays.

INDOOR ARENA

Our spectacular 66 x 30 m indoor arena is the perfect environment for all disciplines. The arena has been surfaced with an Andrew Bowen international competition standard arena surface which is soft, forgiving and dust-free. The arena has good natural and artificial lighting, large mirrors and excellent ventilation providing the ideal training environment in all weathers.

A full set of show jumps and simulated cross country jumps are available on request.

The viewing gallery provides an excellent location for filming. Seating for 130 is available around the arena and it is possible to accommodate a further 150 inside the arena if required.

The indoor arena is equipped with speakers, AV equipment and microphones which is ideal for lecture demonstrations or dressage to music.

OUTDOOR ARENA

Our 60 x 20 m outdoor arena features a soft and forgiving Andrew Bowen international competition standard arena surface which is inspected and levelled daily.

The outdoor arena is enclosed by banks which provide an amphitheatre from which to coach or observe. Similarly the viewing box provides trainers with the ‘judge’s view’ when training.

DRIVING ARENA

Our 100 x 40 m driving arena is level with a hard surface suitable for driving dressage. Optional cones and moveable marathon obstacles are available on request enabling practice of all three elements on a reliable surface.

STABLING

Our stabling facilities are available for day and overnight visits. We have 13 large loose boxes integral to the main indoor arena. A further 13 stables are available in a separate enclosed yard.

All stables are fitted with non-slip rubber matting. Our policy is to fully disinfect all stables between clients. The yard has ample lighting both inside and out.
